At laugh&play Family Music, your family will experience musical thrivival!   A delicious blending of two things: the opportunity for children to thrive musically in the stimulating and supportive music environment we provide; combined with a revival of parent/caregivers'  experience of uninhibited, joyful, informal music-making!

laugh&play Family Music founder, Cynthia Dreeman Meyer, experienced Musical Thrivival twenty years ago as parent sharing the Music Together^® program with her newborn son - Max - and quickly realized that she wanted to bring this experience to other families.  Music Together's playful, interactive approach to music education, the jubilent group-dynamic of the class, and the synergistic bonding experience with her child, inspired Cynthia to make a dramatic career change from trial lawyer to Music Together teacher.  Eight years later, in 2007, Cynthia founded Music Together of Chester, and in 2024 we rebranded as laugh&play Family Music.

Cynthia's experience came full circle when, beginning in 2017, her now-grown son Max began teaching at Music Together of Chester, making it a family business in a whole new sense.  Max quickly became a much-loved and hugely popular teacher, but currently makes only guest visits to class as he is the percussionist with the North American Tour of the B'Way show Les Misérables!
