Cynthia

Cynthia Dreeman Meyer, Director/Teacher, is passionate about music and creates a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development. Cynthia has been bringing the Music Together program to families for 24 years, and in 2011 was awarded Music Together Certification Level I status by the Center for Music & Young Children in Princeton, NJ, for outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education.
Cynthia has a B.A. from Rutgers University, where she studied Dance, French, and Japanese, and a J.D. from Rutger's Law School. She worked as an intellectual property trial attorney in NY and NJ for ten years.
Cynthia is also the CEO and Founder of DreemIT Boutique in Chester (unique gifts for children and adults), and the author of two picture books, "Merry Stirring Mice: Santa's Secret Team," (2014), and "Gregory the Spider: Romping through the Year" (2017). Cynthia's books are available at DreemIT as well as on Amazon.
In 2003, Cynthia founded the "Festival of Trees," a fundraising event that established Chester's Senior Resource Center, a non-profit organization that provides fitness classes, educational programs and support to seniors and caregivers in the greater Morris-County area. The Festival has grown into a beloved annual celebration that kicks off the holiday season during the first week of December at the historic Barn at Highlands Ridge Park. Cynthia runs class trips and singalongs throughout the event.
Cynthia is a NiDan (second degree black belt) in Isshinryu Karate.
